From the Foreword:
The study is presented in three parts. Part I provides brief background information on Colombia, a statement of the relationship between Government and private enterprise, and a delineation of the place and possibilities for private foreign investment. Part II deals in some detail with the most important aspects of the economy. In the appendixes an effort is made to supplu detailed information concerning principal economic regions and important cities; business law, labor law and organization, and taxation; industrial and business groups; and the transportation system.
